Slow-fermented sourdough, flaky butter croissants and cakes worth a fuss — baked from scratch every single morning by our tiny, flour-dusted crew.

Everything on the shelf was dough at 3am. When it's gone, it's gone — so come early for the cardamom buns.
Three days of laminating with cultured Normandy-style butter. 81 shatter-crisp layers.
Our 36-hour country loaf with local rye and a blistered, caramelised crust. Fed by "Doughlores," our starter.
Swedish-style twisted bun, freshly ground green cardamom and a crackly pearl-sugar top.
Chewy middle, crunchy edges, two kinds of dark chocolate and a pinch of flaky sea salt.
A soft, pillowy bread sweetened with wildflower honey from Hilltop Apiary, topped with rolled oats.
Vanilla bean sponge, roasted strawberry jam and a cloud of mascarpone cream. Pretty in pink.
Psst... loaves can be reserved by phone until 10am ☎️
Our story
Crumb & Co. started as a farmers' market stall and one stubborn sourdough starter. Ten years later we've traded the folding table for a corner shop on Maple Street – but we still mill some of our own flour, still shape every loaf by hand, and still give the end-of-day bread to the Eastside Community Pantry.
We bake with organic grain from Willamette Valley farms, butter from a dairy 40 miles away, and seasonal fruit from whoever at the market has the best peaches that week.

Kind words
Our favourite part of the job (after eating the broken cookies).
The croissant ruined every other croissant for me. I now plan my Saturday runs to end exactly at their door.
Mina made our wedding cake — lemon, elderflower and covered in pressed pansies. Guests are still talking about it.
Warm, friendly and they remembered my kid's name on the second visit. Best sourdough in the city, no contest.
