Ray Delgado opened Torque in a two-bay Texaco station on Chester Avenue with a borrowed toolbox and one rule: never sell a customer something they don't need. Half a century later, his daughter Linda runs the front desk and his grandson Marco runs the floor − and the rule hasn't budged an inch.
