Anatomy of a Proper Shave

Steam
Three eucalyptus-infused hot towels open the pores and soften the beard.
II.
Lather
Pre-shave oil, then warm lather whipped with a badger brush.
III.
Steel
Two passes with a freshly stropped razor — with the grain, then across.
IV.
Finish
Cold towel, alum block and a splash of house-made bay rum.

Do you take walk-ins?
Always, when a chair is free. Saturdays fill up fast, so we recommend booking online for weekend visits.
What's your cancellation policy?
Please give us 12 hours' notice. No-shows without notice are charged 50% of the booked service on their next visit.
Is the whiskey really free?
It is — one pour per guest, 21+ with ID. We also stock local coffee from Heart Roasters, sparkling water and root beer.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes, in any amount, at the front desk or by phone. They come in a hand-stamped kraft envelope and never expire.
How should I tip?
Tips go 100% to your barber. Cash or card is fine; 20% is customary but never expected.
