Invisalign questions, answered
Most people feel mild pressure for a day or two when switching to a new set − a sign the aligners are working. It's far gentler than wire tightening with braces.
Rarely. Aligners are made of clear SmartTrack material. Small tooth-colored “attachments” help them grip, and they're very subtle.
If your plan includes orthodontic benefits, Invisalign is usually covered the same as braces. We'll check your benefits for free before your consultation.
Call us. Usually you'll move to your next set early or wear your previous set while we order a replacement − typically at no cost on the Comprehensive plan.
A dentist examines your teeth, gums and bone in person, plans every movement, and monitors progress. That supervision prevents costly problems like bite changes or gum recession.
